First couple rides, but so far I'm loving them.
I've always ridden a 9 in RC shoes, and ordered Tallac Mid Boas as gravity shoes after liking the low-top for trail riding. Those fit more like a 9.5–10, and contacted my ankle bones in a weird way. Of course I waited too long to actually return them, but reached out to RC about the fit issue, and they hooked me up with a coupon to try a new model (thank you!) I went with these Hellion Boa Elites, and they fit perfectly. The two Boa dials let you really fine-tune the fit, and I forgot I was wearing brand new shoes on the first ride. My feet are wide with a relatively low-volume heel, and these things fit great.
The grip on the pedal is excellent, while still allowing you to reposition when needed. My only tiny gripe is they don't seem to grip very loose dirt while hiking quite as well as the Tallacs, but I'm splitting hairs.
Stoked on the shoes, stoked on the customer service.

Solid riding shoes!
These are nice hefty shoes that are comfortable enough to walk miles in if need be. The boa system snugs them up nicely and I feel absolutely planted on the pedals. I’ll be buying ride concepts exclusively moving forward ✌️

Best shoes
Love them. So durable. Last me about a year before soles too scuffed for me. Wish the Cordura didn’t attract so much dust. Blasting with air cleans and dries rhem easily.
