Honestly I don't ride a mountain bike. I am a chef, that has been looking for the perfect chef shoe for years. These shoes are amazing for the kitchen. They last forever, and take a beating. The water resistance is perfect of you spill something on your feet. They're non-slip, and comfortable. I've tried every pair of shoes designed for Chefs, they all fall apart. Clogs give me terrible shin splints. I've tried trainers like No Bull, and Helux, which were good, but didn't hold up as well as I wanted. These are the only shoe I've found that stand up to my needs!sorry if this review doesn't help you mountain bikers, only really in the fact that they do hold up very well. Ive been wearing my pair of Live wires for over a year, and just deceided it was time for a new pair, so I'm trying the accomplice.
