Tallac (tuh-lak) uses a lightweight and breathable Cordura ® upper with a stitch-free and fully welded construction for durability. Tallac BOA ® has been updated with the PerformFitâ„¢ Wrap from the BOA ® Fit System—designed to improve power transfer and efficiency while providing a micro-adjustable, precision fit you can adjust on the fly. A supportive and vibration-dampening midsole keeps things feeling calm and collected on the bike while the reverse hex traction in the toe and heel of the outsole makes easy work when hiking becomes necessary.
Great shoe, durable, easy on and off.
Only have a few rides on them so durability is unknown at this time.

Great shoes I have wide feet size 12 snf these check all the boxes. Comfortable stiff and great for bike hike adventures.
Just order the taler version for big rock rides.
Stiff, comfortable, good for hike a bike 10/10 recommend.
Great shoe!
I find the fit True to Size - the opening to get your foot into the shoe is smaller than usual which makes it feel under sized but once in that is not the case. I like this because I do not have to twist the BOA Dial much to get a secure fit. They are a little heavy but have lots of foot protection and excellent construction quality. I also like the rearward positioning option for the cleat which does not cause you to lower your saddle height due to the thick sole.
The only negative thing I can say is I wish the nylon sole was stiffer, I am a 140 pound rider and the sole flexes easily when pedaling hard and even more standing. I would rate the stiff between 4 and 5 like show correctly on the shoe Flex Index Scale. FYI - I mount the cleats all the way rearward which seems to make the shoe flex easier so keep this in mind.
