Performance

Different terrain and riding styles can benefit from specific shoe features. Grip, protection, weight, and breathability are all factors that can affect your on-bike experience.

Level 3 Flex retains a nuanced pedal feel, while providing some support to reduce foot-fatigue on longer descents. There is a more obvious power transfer and platform to push on than the softer Levels 1 & 2.

Our Low Volume Last is designed for an athletic fit. This allows the rider to achieve a more connected and secure feel without having to cinch down on the laces and risk foot numbness.

I bought my first RC shoes about 6 years ago when I stopped using clipless pedals. I love them. I use them for everyday use as well. Very comfortable and durable. I think the fit might be 1/2 size small. Keep this in mind when ordering. If you get them at a bike shop, of course you can try them on.
Excellent comfortable
I’m on my 5th pair of Livewires and literally wear them nearly all day, everyday. As a full time MTB coach, I’m keenly aware of the stiffness, support, and grip I want in a flat pedal shoe. I’ve ridden offerings from 5 other brands and nothing is close to the Livewire, in my opinion. I’ve recommended them to dozens of happy clients that echo the same!
Replaced my Helion Elites with these and have about a month of time on them. I will say that the pedal feel is a bit better with these. Not as much as the Vice but a good bit more than the Hellion. I also like the slightly less sticky rubber on the sole. Comfort wise they feel very similar and as all RC shoes seem to do they run a bit small. I am usually a 14 but went up a full size and the fit is now right on. This is a solid performer at a great price!
Love the shoes. They are now my daily wear shoes. Second pair I have bought. Last pair lastest me about 2 years with daily use. Went half a size higher than I normally do and they fit great.
