With a dialed fit and proven MAX GRIP rubber outsole for ultimate grip and pedal feel, the award-winning Hellion Elite has established itself as the no-compromise all mountain shoe of choice. We didn't stop there. Our lightest shoe, the Hellion Elite has been upgraded once again with a premium recycled microfiber upper containing at least 30% recycled PET and an anti-bacterial mesh lining, improving breathability and comfort. An anti-abrasion toe and heel offer plenty of protection from trail obstacles and an EVA midsole offers additional support and cushioning.

Different terrain and riding styles can benefit from specific shoe features. Grip, protection, weight, and breathability are all factors that can affect your on-bike experience.

Level 3 Flex retains a nuanced pedal feel, while providing some support to reduce foot-fatigue on longer descents. There is a more obvious power transfer and platform to push on than the softer Levels 1 & 2.

Our Low Volume Last is designed for an athletic fit. This allows the rider to achieve a more connected and secure feel without having to cinch down on the laces and risk foot numbness.

We partner with D30 to incorporate impact absorbing materials in our insoles and medial collar protection throughout much of our line. This soft, lightweight and flexible material is ideal for footwear – reducing feedback from the trail and harsh impacts through our Zone Technology insoles and adding crank protection in our premium gravity and enduro models.

Wasn’t sure at first

Initially the shoe felt tight and disconnected from the pedal. But after loosening the laces a bit and a couple more rides, they are starting to break in. I was just used to worn out 510s, starting to feel the pedal spikes through the old soft sole. I feel these hellions will have long life and are holding up well so far.

Flat pedal convert

Recently switched to flats while recovering from a knee injury. These shoes stick to the pedals are super comfortable and are holding up really well. I highly recommend them.

Perfect MTB Shoe

I have had multiple pairs of the Vice and got a set of these for some more serious riding. The grip is beyond what I expected. I'm not usually a fan of big mtb shoes because the lack of pedal feel freaks me out but these deliver. Also, once these are broken in they are like walking on clouds. Very low impact. My only issue is that they run a little snug. Go a half size up if you have a wider foot.

Pleasantly Surprised

I had the chance to try your hellion elite shoes. For more than 10 years I used 5.10 and I was pleasantly surprised by your shoes. First of all I loved the grip that the hellion elite provides, as soon as you pedal you feel in control and you are able to feel your bike well. The comfort is fantastic and the fit was perfect for me. In my case absolutely nothing negative during my first 2 days. We are happy to now have the chance to sell your products in store.
