Fit: True To Size
Great MTB shoes

IMHO better than the 510s... similar platform and grip, but the ankle cuff, tongue and shoelace holder is better designed and more comfortable.

Great shoes!

The fit is excellent, comfort is above average and the soles grip pedals like Velcro. Love these shoes.

Great MTB shoes!

Great toe protection. Solid support. Great grip and pedal traction. Nice features like a lace tuck to keep laces out of the way. Have put over 400 miles on mine so far and they are holding up amazing!

Really good...but with some faults.

Great shoes the first two months. Super grip, a little unconfortable at first, but after some time they now feel "like a glove". I try to ride my bike at least 5 days a week (wish I could follow your "motto" RIDE ALL DAYS) and the rubber sole (that you asure is really solid) is falling apart.
I could send you a picture of how it looks after nearly 3 months of usage. I was about to purchase another pair (the live wire), but after seen this, now I am thinking twice to do so.
Anyways, if you want me to send you a picture of the shoes (I tried to attach a photo here but I couldn´t), you can contact me.
Again, the shoe is great but, I now just have hexa-gones in the shoe sole.
Hope you can do something about it.

Thank you for your feedback! That sounds like premature wear which would be covered under our One Year Warranty. Please view our Warranty Policy and file a claim at:

Quite a good shoe - order 1/2 size bigger, okay?

I ordered a pair of the LiveWire shoes in my normal shoe size (9.5). They were snug, which I expected for new shoes, and I expected them to expand a little as I wore them. 9...10 months later, no dice. The 9.5 were still snug and painful in the toe box area. I called Ride Concepts and they were super friendly and mentioned that yeah... the toe box doesn't expand out like a leather show or Vans. So, I ordered a size 10 in the Hellion as I wanted to try a better quality shoe. RIGHT AWAY, the 10 felt like a proper fit. The painful toe area of the 9.5 shoes was gone and these felt great. The difference in build quality between the LiveWire v. Hellion is not quickly discernable. When I look at them side-by-side and poke around, I can see where the quality goes up a notch with the Hellions. BUT... the LiveWire is perfectly excellent. If I had ordered a size 10 instead of the 9.5, I wouldn't bother looking at the Hellion because it's already a quality shoe with good grip. That being siad, I'm pleased with the Hellion's with their fit, grip, durability and build quality. Highly recommended.
