A native of Spain, Lacondeguy began to change the face of mountain biking from a young age with his aggressive style. Focusing on freeride, Lacondeguy is a crowd favorite at events such as Red Bull Rampage where his energy and unique bike skills are unmatched.

In 2008 he won Crankworx Whistler and  became the first man to land a backflip from a snow-covered big air ramp on a mountain bike. In 2012 he won the Red Bull Berg Line event in Winterberg and in 2013 he earned a Bronze medal in the Munich X-Games Slopestyle event. In 2014, Lacondeguy took his biggest prize to date by winning the infamous Red Bull Rampage event, affirming his place among the best mountain bike riders in the world. He's since landed second on the podium in 2015 and 2018.
